The Dresden Files: Portland
Aiden was born into the world of the non-denominational Pentecostal church that his father, Broderick, was pastor for. His mother died birthing him and his father’s world is all he’s ever known. When he turned 17, he was looking for a way to break away and met Keegan Doyle. Keegan turned him onto a new path, the path of the “Fellowship of the Sacred Lamb.” It appealed to both Aiden’s upbringing and his sense of rebellion. He joined the fellowship and vowed to not have any regrets.
He has since regretted that vow. Something feels off about the Fellowship, but he dare not admit that to his father—or to himself. Doyle has them participate in strange, scary rituals that make him uncomfortable. The larger rituals have been rumored to have involved blood sacrifice. For the Lamb. He’s not sure he wants to participate in that, but he dare not invoke Doyle’s wrath…
UPDATE: Aiden has since been rescued from the cult and now lives with his father at the Pentecostal Mission House in downtown Portland.
