John Daymar is a diviner, one that refuses to see into the future anymore. He gets frequent calls from people wanting one form of hidden knowledge or the other and he feels like he’s seen too much. He frequents Barry’s Drafthouse in the Hawthorne district, where he often just sits with a dark beer and too many memories.

John doesn’t like cell phones (“they, like, disrupt the spiritual energies around me”). He has an apartment downtown but also has a small storage building near the airport where he usually does his ritual magic.
